Pondering on technology on this rainy afternoon and what a marvel it is! Sat down to compose my thoughts and asked Alexa on my Echo Dot what was the temperature outside just to see if it might be cold enough for a snow flurry. Then I asked her to play music from the 1970s. I…

Well, no pondering on the porch today. Too cold and dreary. My pantry was bare, my fridge had no milk, my wallet had no grocery cash, so I did what any self respecting woman would do. Took my jars of pocket change to the coin machine at Wally World. Have not set foot in Wally…

Well, today again the wind drove me off the porch. I’m missing my porch pondering and bird watching. Temperature was great, beautiful blue sky but the wind…. So figured I might as well tackle taking the decorations off the large Christmas tree in the living room. Only broke two Christmas balls but it was a…

Pondered on the porch with gale force wind today! Blew my fruit jar of tea off the little table by the swing. Didn’t break, thank goodness! Watched the wind bending the tops of the magnolias across the street then it would blow on our side. The wind blew the quilt on the bottom of Penelope’s…

Pondering on the damp porch today. Porch is warmer than my house! Too hot with a sweater on, too cool without one so so I’m off to the lady den to ponder on my writings today. Got the mail out of the box when I was walking Penelope and looking at the Subway coupons made…

Well started off the morning getting stuck in one of Chief’s sweatshirts. Was going to wear it over my shirt like a coat to walk Penelope. Still can’t figure how I almost suffocated myself. The front and back kinda got reversed. Tried to put my head through the neck and both the front and back…

Pondering in the lady den today. Got company. We’ve been playing video games. I’m not very good at flying on my dragon. I go around in circles till I finally give up. She’s a patient teacher and we laugh at how inept I am. She lets me ride with her on her dragon. Pretty cool…

Beautiful porch pondering day. I’m in the swing. My spend the night company and her pup are on the way back to Alexander City. Penelope is sun bathing in her playpen. The sun is actually hot on my face but feels so good after yesterday’s bluster. Blue sky with jet trails, no clouds. Lots of…

Definitely no porch sitting in the arctic wind today. The wind blew the swing and porch pillows out into the yard. My bird friends chowed down all day keeping their stomachs full to keep warm. Every time I opened the front door a flurry of birds would fly up to the trees. And as usual…

Didn’t ponder on the porch today. Too cold and windy! Walked Penelope this morning and it was trying to sleet. I could feel the thick drops on my face. Just a degree or two lower and we’d have snow. The sky just looks like it wants to snow. But I’m not getting my hopes up.…
